Canadian Storytelling Day (annually in November)

Durham Storytellers will be telling tales during November for Canadian Storytelling Day (CSD). It is another opportunity to share Canadian stories, to gather with listeners to start a winter’s storytelling season when the nights grow longer and colder, and to host CSD events within our communities.

Durham Storytellers join other storytelling groups throughout the nation to promote the art of oral storytelling, as well as to tell Canadian stories related to the theme of "A Breath of Fresh Air".

Canadian Storytelling Day is a companion event to the annual World Storytelling Day in March.

Durham Storytellers Gatherings

On the third Thursday of every month, Durham Storytellers gather to tell and listen to stories. Each gathering includes Featured Tellers and Open Mic, and Guests are always welcome. Come Listen, Come Tell, Catch the Magic!
